About Us

          The name SandyJames is derived from decades of fruitful collaboration between former partner and culinary associate Sandy Kuba and current proprietor James Bartle.  If you've been a resident of West Palm Beach within the past ten years, you may recall our humble beginnings at the corner of Southern Blvd. and Dixie Highway.  During the summer of 2007, we proudly outgrew ourselves and were invited to take residence at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach. Currently, not only are we the exclusive caterer at the NCC, but we are also the most sought-after caterer from Vero Beach to Miami.

James Bartle, Proprietor 

          Having a foothold in Palm Beach County since his youth, James has continuously developed fulfilling relationships among friends, clients and vendors over decades. He first embarked on his career path in the Northern hustle and bustle of New York City, Nantucket and Bermuda, where he learned to embrace the high-volume demands of the hospitality industry. His exposure to a spectrum of environments and clientele has shaped his approach to producing events for any occasion.

Jose Torres, Executive Chef

          Jose Torres brings the eclectic palate of every SandyJames menu to life and on your table. Over the course of a decade, his talents have punctuated the Eastern seaboard from Martha's Vineyard and West Hampton Country Club to managing restaurants in Tampa, FL.  With his fearless spirit and impeccable execution, his illustrious career has advanced him and the company to the forefront of South Florida's catering industry.  For the past eight years, his presence in our kitchen has been unmistakable - truly embodying the heart and soul of SandyJames. 



Scott Reiser, Event Planner

          From black-tie formal to barbecue cookout, Scott Reiser is a seasoned event specialist.  What matters most to him is not merely the success of your party, but instead the fulfillment of your vision. With over 20 years in the food and beverage industry, Scott's career began at the River Club of Jacksonville, FL.  He went on to work with several properties owned by Club Corporation of America, where he cultivated the finesse so desired by South Florida's elite.  Scott has played an integral role in the event planning department of SandyJames for the past six years, and his expertise has proven priceless to his clientele time and time again.
